Fire

Here is what to do in case of fire:

  1. Stop Working
In case of fire an alarm will sound. When you hear it:
    • Stop all activities
    • Stop and shut off all equipment
    • Proceed to the nearest emergency exit
    • Follow the floor warden's recommendations
  2. Exit
    • Exit the building and follow the signs to the to the closest rally point.
    • If you cannot negotiate the stairs, let the floor warden know, if there is no floor warden then wait at the landing and call the evacuation coordinator.
  3. Wait
    • Wait at the rally point until the floor warden or evacuation coordinator gives the all clear signal.
    • If you feel in imminent danger or urgently need help, call the coordinator. Otherwise wait. The floor warden most likely has requested help for you.
